CSNNE: Despite Pats’ best efforts, Hernandez will leave a scar

Despite Bill Belichick's attempt to distance himself and the current roster from Aaron Hernandez during his Wednesday press conference (and despite the organization's efforts to wipe the former tight end from their history by taking his jersey off the backs of fans), Patriots Insider Tom E. Curran believes the entire situation will leave an indelible mark on the franchise.

"Psychically, the fan base, the organization and the NFL at large will bear the scars from this alleged murder of Odin Lloyd by an NFL player, specifically by Aaron Hernandez," Curran said.
