Tony Stewart flips in sprint car race for second time in 2010

If Tony Stewart has the opportunity during a Sprint Cup race weekend, he heads to a nearby dirt track. And that opportunity presented itself this weekend, as Stewart went over to Southern New Mexico Speedway in Las Cruces, NM to run the Lucas Oil ASCS race.

However, as you can see from the video above, Stewart didn't even get to the main feature.

Stewart was unhurt in the flip, which happened when he made contact with another car while on the inside trying to pass during a heat race. It was the second time that Stewart has flipped in a sprint car race during a Cup weekend this season, as the Friday before the race at Watkins Glen, Stewart flipped at Black Rock Speedway in Dundee, NY.

Stewart said after that flip that the only thing that he hurt was his pride -- besides the car, of course.

The last time that Stewart flipped in a NASCAR race was the 2006 Nationwide race at Talladega.
