Video: Brandt Snedeker makes a big move on leader Kyle Stanley

Brandt Snedeker has never had the pleasure of hoisting the Farmer Insurance Open trophy, but he's certainly come close a number of times, including a second-place finish in 2009, and third-place finish in 2007.

Based on his past success, it shouldn't come as a surprise that he's once again in contention to win, after he posted an 8-under 64 on Torrey Pines' North Course during Friday's second round. He's just one shot back of leader Kyle Stanley -- 4-under 68 on the South Course -- who's looking for his first PGA Tour win after a couple close calls last season.

Even though fan favorite Phil Mickelson missed the cut -- we're guessing it had something to do with the Rees Jones redesign -- there's still enough competition at the top to make the weekend interesting.
