Jason Dufner tosses his wedge in a creek at Merion, picks it up, tosses it again

You know how we all joke about Jason Dufner and how the guy never shows any emotion? Yeah, that wasn't the case at Merion on Friday.

Dufner, who shot an opening round 74, made a quick birdie to start his second round and got to the par-5 4th hole with hopes of adding another. He put his ball in the perfect position to wedge it close, but Dufner appeared to catch it a little fat, and his ball found the creek guarding the green. His next pitch wasn't much better, and Dufner let his wedge have it, tossing it in the creek.

His facial expression still never wavered, but Dufner was obviously upset with the way he had hacked it around on that hole. What did he do after he fished out that wedge? Tossed it to the side for the ultimate "insult to injury" moment.

Dufner went on to make bogey on the hole, and followed it up with another bogey on No. 5.

Bob Vokey, I'm assuming you'll have some business later this evening.
