Unexpected: Danny Amendola returns to limited practice

Yup, this is one of those blog posts where pretty much everything you need to know is right up there ^ in the headline.

Rams receiver Danny Amendola (clavicle) has apparently returned to practice on a limited basis. He was catching passes from Sam Bradford on Wednesday in London, where his team is preparing to face New England. Amendola was reportedly working in a no-contact situation and he isn't expected to play on Sunday, but his return to any sort of action is a terrific sign. Dude suffered an almost-life-threatening injury.

Amendola has drawn 49 targets this season in just five games, so he's clearly a player worth picking up. At the moment, Amendola is available in 56 percent of Yahoo! leagues, but that percentage should change quickly. Make the add -- especially you, PPR owner.

St. Louis has a bye following the London game, so there's basically no chance Amendola can help you until mid-November. Still, this team's schedule is plenty friendly in the fantasy playoffs. The Rams face the Bills, Vikings and Bucs in Weeks 14-16. Amendola should be a strong play in the most important weeks of the fantasy season.
