Throwing Darts: More pinball for Drew Brees
After a Week 16 holiday miracle, let's try to finish strong.
New Orleans -12.5 vs. Tampa Bay: Love Drew Brees in a bounce-back game, especially at home. The big number is never fun to spot, but if the Saints get their 30-plus, we won't worry too much.
Dallas +6.5 vs. Philly: Kyle Orton isn't a total stiff, especially with a week of first-team reps, and I'm not going to inflate Philly too much after last week's brilliant public showing. Remember, they lost the previous week to Matt Cassel and the Vikings.
Atlanta +6.5 vs. Carolina: Falcons moved the ball nicely at San Francisco - it's fun to have your weapons back. Number here gives Panthers a little too much credit for needing the game. If only it were that simple.
Jacksonville +11.5 at Indianapolis: Jags haven't flagged the season and this could easily be a flat spot for Indy, in between KC games.
Miami -6 vs. New York Jets: Trust the Dolphins defense at home, and Geno Smith's had a lot of careless games with the ball, most of them on the road.
