Terrell Suggs and his t-shirt don't like the Pittsburgh Steelers

Some people figuratively wear their emotions on their sleeves. Terrell Suggs(notes) literally has it printed on his back. And all classy-like too, I might add.

So deep is the Baltimore Ravens linebacker's dislike of the Pittsburgh Steelers that he's taken to wearing a shirt that reads "You Bet Your Sweet Ass I Hate The Steelers" under his jersey during practice.

Suggs told the Baltimore Sun that he saw the shirt in a store and thought, "oh, that's nice for camp." The front of it reads "YBYSA", an acronym for what appears on the back (and something that sounds like something Drago said at the end of the bout in Rocky IV.)

This isn't the first time Suggs has made his thoughts about Pittsburgh known. Last year he got into a bit of hot water for suggesting that his team had put a bounty out on Hines Ward. (Ever the gentleman, Ward politely reminded Suggs of the NFL policy against such actions.) 

It's only natural that Suggs, his teammates and Ravens fans would hate Pittsburgh though. The Steelers are a model franchise, have had more historical and recent success (including three wins over the Ravens last year) and, most importantly, don't have to live in Baltimore.

The feeling is mutual in Pittsburgh, if a little bit more understated. It's not that the Steelers and their fans don't hate the Ravens, but I always get the sense that Baltimore has much stronger feelings about the whole thing. (It's the same thing with the Maryland-Duke rivalry in college basketball.) I mean, do you think James Harrison(notes) would be caught dead wearing a Ravens diss shirt to Steelers camp?

    Ravens and Steelers can both go F*** themselves....I've lived in Cleveland and been a Browns fan my whole life, well except for that short break the Brownies took....Art can jump off a bridge for all I care...I cant wait till my Brownies are actually relevant again...sadness has overcome much of the Browny Backers Across the Globe....

    yea enjoy our team you hack of a fan, if you had any real respect you wouldnt root for a team owned by a jack ass like art modell, i cant wait till he gets inducted into the hall of fame, to hear him get booed off the stage will be the only joy that could come from him

    What roost do the Ravens rule? The wild card roost? The loosing 3 times to the Steelers roost? How about the, watching the Steelers win 2 out of the last 4 Super Bowls roost? Ravens' fans, win something...,then talk. That's how it is done. Patriots fans can talk s***, they are winners. Ravens fans can't. The won one super bowl almost a decade ago. Hell, even Tampa Bay won a Super Bowl more recently than you. Just eat your delicious crabs(not an STD joke) and watch repeats of Homicide: Life On The Street. Stay away from football talk.

    It really is funny to see all the hatred directed at the Steelers. It's only because you are jealous that your teams get owned by Pittsburgh every year that you have these feelings.     It's nice to see pros in it for more than the money. Course, 4 years from now he could be a Steeler. You never know...
    It would also be nice to see Bal'more win one or two - it will just make it an even better rivalry.

    Ummm, Art Modell doesn't own the Ravens any more. And you can't really expect a Redskins fan to know anything about spelling and grammer, so leave the poor guy alone.

    Browns fan....hmmm thought they were extinct! Browns have a lot to prove before they can be taken seriously again. The Steelers & Ravens are by far the two best in our division. Both teams never quit, they leave it all on the field. As a Steelers fan I love to watch when we play the Ravens. Even though we beat the Ravens three times last season, it was by no means easy. Hats off to the ravens...I cant wait till we play them this season. Usually one hell of a game to watch. GO STEELERS!!!!

    Hey Gayvens fans, how strong will your Dfense be with Ray Ray gettin older and no Dcord? Reed is the only relevant player left! Sorry for no playoffs this year and you all should hate the Steelers, cause it's natural to hate the BEST!
