Jim McMahon is not endorsing adidas anymore

No, what Jim McMahon is endorsing these days is a step or two down from adidas. In fact, it's a step or two down from Levitra. It's even a step or two down from ExtenZe. But as long as it comes with a paycheck and the title of "Bedroom MVP," how can anyone expect a guy to say no?

Courtesy of Bear Goggles On, here's a look at Jim McMahon's newest endorsement deal with MVP -- Male Vitality Performance.

Here's the quote from McMahon himself, in case you missed it over there on the right-hand side:

"You may remember me as a Super Bowl Champion Quarterback, but now I've got a play to make YOU a champion in the bedroom.

I use MVP and it really works! MVP enhances my pleasure, desire and performance every time, it's a winner!"

I've always been a Jim McMahon fan, but come on, Jim. I don't want to know you, or your friends that you met at the bus station, in that way.

    WTH!
Why do we get to comment on trash like this, yet the Michael Vick rubbish is not commentable?
Goodell wants 'genuine remorse' and Vick did something eggregious?
    NO!
Betting on Football would have been eggregious.
What Vick did was dispicably and repulsively barbaric.
History shows us that the only 'genuine remorse' you will see from someone like Vick is for having been caught.
NO VIOLENT CRIMINALS IN THE NFL!

    J.Q.
You should take a look at how the meat that you consume is treated before becoming meat (assuming youre not a vegetarian). Now I am a vegetarian and I think what Vick did was wrong, but he served time in jail and Im not sure he should be punished anymore. I cant imagine many owners are going to be willing to take the public backlash of employing Vick....

JQ - football is a violent sport. That's why violent people excel at it. I can't in my own mind fathom doing what Vick did, but I can imagine crushing a mouse or gutting a fish (not happily in either case) or dumping a lobster into a pot of boiling water (very happily here). The point is, on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being pure evil, Vick in the dog case is only about a 3, with say rape being a 6 and genocide being a 10. It was bad, but made worse because people, especially PETA people, place a moral value on cuteness. You don't see PETA people marching around complaining about salamander rights, but club a few baby seals and oh my god. So it's all relative, Vick did his time and lost his fortune. Let him earn his money the only way he knows how. I'd rather have him in the NFL than on the streets.

Thank you Scott E. YOu nailed it on the head with a 3 out of 10. yes, it is bad for the dogs and all, but the backlash was ridiculous. The attitude some dog owners take toward their animals is ridiculous. They are not human beings. No, I am not going to beat my dogs, but I am not going to keep a dog in the same room as a 3 year old if it is nipping at people and there is a chance that the dog could bite, even if the dog doesn't make contact.
Let go of it people. They are just dogs.

    Never said I was Christ.
In the context of whether all men are given the same opportunities and abilities, no they are not equal. In they context of whether they have equal opportunity for salvation through faith in Jesus Christ the Lord, yes they do.
    Thank you for the question.

Do what you gotta do...too bad I can't get in touch with Jim to let him know there is an easier way to generate revenue for his business ventures and still accomplish healthy vitality, performance and virility - not just in the bedroom but on the athletic field as well. I already work with a lot of athletes on this!

I agree with goretro666 I dont think blogs about the NFL should have some goof spouting off about how Jesus saves or whatever. I call that forcing one's beliefs where it's unwanted. I clicked on this link to read about Vick, not Salvation. If I wanted to do that I would go to church. I don't like it when people preach where it's not welcomed.
As for Vick, I think that he served his time, we have people who commited vehicular manslaughter, people who were caught beating their wives and children, people who were caught with drugs and guess what? They still are playing. I say let the man play, I'm pretty sure that he learned his lesson and about humility. He lost everything, was branded as a monster by PETA and every animal nut. I think that it's a little bit of an overkill to make it anymore than it really was. He was used to set an example that we as a society shouldn't abuse animals. We got it. Move on. Let the man get on with his life. I think that he's ready to return to normal society, I just hope that Commish Goddel and the Owners feel the same way!
