• Here's my brand new Twitter feed. Why'd it take so long? I'll tell you why. I live my life by one simple rule: Don't do anything until Peter King does it first.

• Matt Bowen(notes) at the National Football Post put together a good explanation of college "system quarterbacks" and why they don't translate to the NFL. Someone should forward that to Mike Leach(notes).

• Rare: A straight-up player for player trade. Even rarer: It includes a white running back. The Bengals get Brian Leonard, the Rams get Orien Harris.

• If you had to put together a football team made entirely of superheroes, here's a version of what it might look like. Mine would be similar, but it would include Larry English(notes).

• LenDale White is in shape and extremely confident about his prospects in 2009.

    so here's my question. like peter king, was your twitter usage work-mandated? is it your editor who believes you'd be "hip and cutting edge" by having an account?
    coz you know all the real hip and cutting edge people have already quit twitter, right?

    I couldn't agree more "JohnnyFootballHero". At what point did people get so self absorbed that they actually think random people want to know what they're thinking about, eating, drinking, and other bulls**t at any moment on any given day???? And by the way, all the hip and cutting edge people never bought into the whole Twitter idea. No offense MJD but unless your Twitter account is "work mandated", this is pretty lame!

    Lendale White being "in shape" means he only has to catch his breath for 5 seconds between flights of stairs instead of the usual 15.
