Earlier today, it was reported that several Detroit Pistons decided to, as the Detroit News put it, stage a "player protest" against their coach, John Kuester. Richard Hamilton(notes), Chris Wilcox(notes), Tracy McGrady(notes), and Tayshaun Prince(notes) were among those most closely indicted. As a punishment of sorts, Kuester decided not to start any of those players in Friday's game against the Philadelphia 76ers.
21 minutes into that game, Kuester was ejected for complaining to the referees. He lobbed several curse words that the television cameras were able to aid us in lip-reading, and was sent on his way. Word is, he'll be fired soon.
And in the picture you can see above, Tracy McGrady could not stop cracking up about the whole affair.
Our sympathies, Detroit. You deserve better. From all involved.
