This is pretty wild. Just before halftime of Monday's Warriors-Jazz game, a ballsy fan sitting behind Golden State's basket blows a loud whistle right as Mehmet Okur strips the ball from Ronny Turiaf. Thinking a ref has just called a foul, nearly everyone on the court stops playing. Psyche!
The public address announcer warned the crowd against unauthorized whistles but Kyle Korver's uncontested dunk stood.
Can you imagine if this had happened late in the fourth quarter of a close game?

Jazz's fans are the worst fans in history of any sports. Period.

The fans at the Jazz games are classless and this is just another example. What is soooo cool about this. Play fair and win with dignity.

Give me 3 things they have done to be listed as classless? I'm just curious.

Of course the Refs weren't going to give them a foul shot . But why would the "utah" fan blow it when Warriors are driving to the basket? It's clearly not a Jazz fan. And before you said it was a drunk Utah fan. It's Utah. Drunk Utah fan = oxymoron.

Basically, besides the whistle incident, I have noticed the last few years that Jazz fans are overly rowdy. They are practically coming out of their seats and on the court yelling, screaming, and name calling opposing players and coaches more so than NBA fans. There just seems to be an attitude with their fans that goes too far.
I probably shouldn't have used the word "classless" because it is too stong because other NBA fans get worked up too. Overall, after watching some Jazz home games, I found myself rooting against the Jazz because I was annoyed by their fans.
No disrespect to anyone.
