Ball Don't Lie - NBA

Former All-Star Brad Miller(notes) has had a fine NBA career, alternating at forward and center for the Hornets, Chicago Bulls (twice), Indiana Pacers and Sacramento Kings.

But he's also a bit floor-bound, and despite averaging 21.5 minutes in Chicago's 35 games this season, the 7-footer isn't exactly tossing them back. We've found that several notable players have, in fact, blocked more shots than Brad Miller this season.

The magic number? Thirteen.

Matt Barnes(notes) (14).
Monta Ellis(notes) (15).
Arron Afflalo(notes) (15).
Hedo Turkoglu(notes) (16).
Russell Westbrook(notes) (17).
Zach Randolph
(17).
John Salmons(notes) (19).
Baron Davis(notes) (19).
Jason Kidd(notes) (21).
Rasual Butler(notes) (23).
Channing Frye(notes) (33).
Hasheem Thabeet(notes) (in 402 fewer minutes, 37).
Dirk Nowitzki(notes) (46).
Dwight Howard(notes) (90).

Note: ‘Players who ...' is culled not to poke fun at the titled participant, nor to make some grand point. It's merely put together in order to briefly distract you at work. Or at school. Or while you're driving. Look out for that tree.
