Photo fun: Why was Pat Riley at the Tour de France?

I've already posted today's Create-a-Caption, and I have no idea what the context is, but here's a photo of Miami Heat president Pat Riley and good buddy Michael Douglas presenting cyclist Carlos Sastre a yellow jersey following Stage 17 of the Tour de France. Bizarre.


Unless Adrian Wojnarowski or Marc Stein start dropping "Heat sign free agent guard/cyclist" headlines, there's really not much more to say about this.

    even more amazing, Michael Douglas and Pat Riley were seen in the same place, thus proving that they are not actually the same person

    Fact: Carlos says to Michael "nice to meet you" and to Pat "excuse me, but, Who are you?"
    In El Barraco (Sastres' village) nobody knows basketball. Nobody.

    By the way: Giro Italy, Tour France, Roland Garros, Wimblendon, Soccer's Eurocup... sorry, guys, Beijing's basketball gold medal will be to the basketball world champions. What a summer for my country.

    after this picture, Riles announced his un-retirement from bicycle racing and taking Sastre's yellow jersey went on to win the Tour de France, while Michael Douglas went home and banged Catherine Zeta-Jones on a pile of money.
