You gotta love the guy. On Thursday, Diego Sanchez was all about exuding peace as he did yoga and meditated for 45 minutes during The Ultimate Fighter 9 workout day. The serene Sanchez didn't show up for today's weigh-in at the Palms Casino Resort. Sanchez was flexing his face so hard it appeared to be seconds away from exploding (1:15 mark):

Sanchez got right up in Clay Guida's grill. Guida, who puts on a good show for the crowd, played along. It got Sanchez even more jacked. Then Guida started playing to the crowd after the stare down and Sanchez exploded screaming at Guida and pumping his fist to chants of "Diego."

There was little visible heat between any of the other fighters. James Wilks and Demarques Johnson may have had the most intense stare down aside from the main event.

At 208 pounds, Mike Ciesnolevicz did not make the light heavyweight limit. He was not required to cut his weight the maximum of 206. Tomasz Drwal will get 20-percent of Ciesnolevicz's show money. It should cause bettors a bit of pause. Ciesnolevicz looked a bit doughy, now you have to wonder how intense his weight cut was and if it'll effect his gas tank tomorrow night.

MAIN CARD ON SPIKE TV (9 p.m. ET):
Clay Guida (155) vs. Diego Sanchez (156)
DaMarques Johnson (170) vs. James Wilks (171) ("TUF" welterweight finale)
Kevin Burns (171) vs. Chris Lytle (170)
Ross Pearson (156) vs. Andre Winner (155) ("TUF" lightweight finale)
Nate Diaz (156) vs. Joe Stevenson (155)

NON-TELEVISED CARD:
Melvin Guillard (155) vs. Gleison Tibau (155)
Brad Blackburn (170) vs. Edgar Garcia (171)
Mike Ciesnolevicz (208)* vs. Tomasz Drwal (205)
Frank Lester (170) vs. Nick Osipczak (170)
Jason Dent (155) vs. Cameron Dollar (154)

im not really a big fan of diego, but he does have skills. i cant wait to see him bloody up guido. its pretty sad when you're a professional fighter and all you're known for is your hair. what a douche!

Sanchez is super INTENSE!!!! Guida tried to play it off but you know he's worried. People said he looked like a robot in his last fight! Gotta be kiding. Sanchez Destroyed stevenson. If he was robotic, stevenson coudn't see it coming and niether will guida. if it goes to the third, sanchez could be in big trouble, but he will pound guida out in the 2nd. Guida's pretty intense but, obviously not as intense as diego

Diego is, and always will be, bat [profane] insane. I want him to suffer a losing streak more than I want Cro Cop to.

I don't think someone saw the Sanchez Vs. Stevenson fight... I didn't see anything "Destructive" about Diego's performance. Joe just didn't have a good fight and Diego couldn't finish him, "Sanchez Destroyed Stevenson"... I don't think so. Clay has fought the who's who in his weight class and Diego will not beat him and Diego will never be a champ in the UFC. Also"...a talentless hack" you must not be talking about the same Clay Guida that is fighting Sat. night... this guy is full of talent and the only part you got right is that he is going to win. Guida wins in the second round via TKO. Sweet dreams nightmare.

Clottty? whos that never heard of him some new fighter? how he get his name from a blood clot to the brain? I say Sanchez whack attacks the Hippie with his Taco smashers and then twist that hips hair in knots and ties his mouth up. What a fight its a going to be at the barn.

if u can keep joe stenvenson from landing punches or getting takedowns, u have destroyed his game. How could u not see that. Taking someone out of their gameplan is DESTRUCTION!!! i'm sorry but if u get hit by a punch that u can see coming from a mile a way, u got your ass whooped!!!

Paden B thx for clearing that up, Boxers are tough in there own right but they can't beat a MMA fighter under there rules.
Sanchez is pissed off so does he fight better or worse under anger? The caveman looks hungry

    Paden,
You pick a crazy fight with me, yet in your post about Sanchez and Guida you said exactly what I said before you. If you look at my original posts, they were content relevant and about Sanchez and Guida's lack of talent. Yet you jumped all over me, making a million pointless blogs. What gives? Your post is almost identical to mine. And, moreover, we both agree with Nut's original post a few days ago. So what is your personal attack based upon? Why? Remember, you randomly started attacking me for my comments on Sanchez and Guida--comments that you fully agree with.
