This Saturday, Dan Henderson is returning to the UFC for the first time since his massive knockout of Michael Bisping at UFC 100. He is determined to get a win over Mauricio "Shogun" Rua, but is also determined to help needy families have a joyful Thanksgiving.
With every sale of his limited edition walkout shirt, Henderson and Clinch Gear will subsidize the cost of feeding a Thanksgiving meal to a family of four at the Denver Rescue Mission or the San Diego Rescue Mission.
"With the Thanksgiving holiday just days after my fight, we want to remind fans that there are a lot of people out there fighting for more important things than a UFC title," said Henderson via press release. "With so many American families struggling to pay for basic necessities, such as food, clothing and shelter, this is an opportunity for Clinch Gear and the MMA community to make a difference this Thanksgiving."
The shirts come in black and white, and in a woman's cut and sell for $29.95. Sales of the cornermen's t-shirt, also selling for $29.95, will also count towards the total given to the two rescue missions. A Clinch Gear spokesperson said that they have already raised enough to feed 500 families. Buy a shirt today and help them feed one more.
