Player Notes
According to FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal, the Rockies are among the teams interested in Mets starter Dillon Gee.

Advice: The Padres, Rangers, Giants, Twins, and Royals have all been floated as potential landing spots for Gee, and now we can add Colorado to the list. The Rockies are in desperate need of starting pitching, and they probably like Gee because he carries two more years of arbitration eligibility. Gee, 28, had a 4.00 ERA with a 94/43 K/BB ratio over 137 1/3 innings this past season for the Mets.

According to Adam Rubin of ESPN New York, the Padres have at least "kicked the tires" on Dillon Gee and/or Jonathan Niese.

Advice: The Mets would prefer to move Gee and have had also had discussions with the Rangers, Giants, Twins, and Royals. Nothing is considered imminent. The Padres are reportedly discussing their own starters with a number of teams in hopes of landing a bat, so they are a strange match for Gee or Niese.

Jon Heyman of CBS Sports hears that the Rangers are "not enamored" by Mets right-hander Dillon Gee.

Advice: Multiple reports have linked the Rangers with Gee, but nothing appears close. The Mets are talking to other teams, including the Rockies and Twins. Gee is considered the most likely Mets' pitcher to be traded this winter, ahead of Jon Niese and Bartolo Colon.

FOX Sports' Jon Morosi reports that the Rockies, Twins and Rangers have spoken to the Mets about Dillon Gee.

Advice: Andy Martino of the New York Daily News has also said the Giants are in on the Mets' right-hander. Morosi notes that no deal appears to be imminent, which isn't a surprise since it appears the Mets are negotiating with multiple teams. MLBTradeRumors.com has projected Gee to make $5.1 million in arbitration this offseason.

FOX Sports' Jon Morosi reports that the Mets and Rangers are discussing a trade involving Dillon Gee.

Advice: The Mets are known to be shopping their pitchers, and Gee has been seen as the most likely to be dealt. The Rangers are looking for upgrades to their staff after being hit hard by injuries last season, and Gee would be a solid addition. For what it's worth, Andy Martino of the New York Daily News says there's "nothing close" on Gee and the Rangers are "one of several teams in the mix."

Adam Rubin of ESPNNewYork.com reports that the Mets are "aggressively shopping" Dillon Gee.

Advice: Andy Martino of the New York Daily News reported earlier Monday that Gee was "slightly more likely" to be traded than Bartolo Colon and Jon Niese, but Rubin's language is much stronger. The Rangers and Royals are two teams known to have interest in the right-hander. Gee held a 4.00 ERA with a 94/43 K/BB ratio over 137 1/3 innings this past season for the Mets.

Andy Martino of the New York Daily News writes that Dillon Gee is "slightly more likely" to be traded among the Mets' available starters.

Advice: Bartolo Colon and Jon Niese are also on the block, but Gee is cheaper. According to MLB Trade Rumors, he projects to make $5.1 million via the arbitration process in 2015. The 28-year-old had a 4.00 ERA with a 94/43 K/BB ratio over 137 1/3 innings this past season.
