Advice: The 20-year-old has impressed at every level, hitting .320 across 1,082 minor league at-bats. Seager doesn't walk much (just two free passes this season), but that approach hasn't hindered his success. His .433 average this season leads all Texas League hitters. Seager doesn't have anything left to prove at Double-A and should be headed to Triple-A Oklahoma City shortly.

Advice: He's played there twice so far this season and president of baseball operations Andrew Friedman expects to see Seager at the hot corner "roughly once a week." Although the consensus among scouts is that the 6-foot-4, 215-pounder will eventually move to third base, the Dodgers aren't ready to push Seager off shortstop yet. "The idea is at some point, whether its this year or next year, to the extent that we have an injury and hes our best option if hes only played shortstop, that obviously limits him to an injury happening at that one position," Friedman said. "Giving him reps at another position only helps him and helps us." Ranked by Baseball America as the No. 5 prospect in the game, Seager is hitting .423/.436/.654 with two homers in his first 13 games for Tulsa and should be promoted to Triple-A Oklahoma City before long.
