Former MLB All-Star and World Series champion Mike Napoli is enjoying his second act as a coach and could someday see himself as a manager. Napoli, in his third year as the Chicago Cubs' first-base coach, spoke about his transition to coaching and what he's learned along the way on the Audacy Sports podcast Baseball Isn't Boring this week. “It's all I ever really heard when I was playing and stuff, people were like, 'Do you want to manage?'” Napoli said. By the end of his 12-year playing career, the former catcher, first baseman and designated hitter put serious consideration into how he could remain a part of the game.
