Player Notes
Mike Napoli was ejected from Sunday's game versus the Rays for arguing balls and strikes.

Advice: Home plate umpire Tripp Gibson looked to have a quick trigger, as Napoli seemed to be disputing a called strike three pretty calmly in the second inning before getting the heave-ho. It's been a nightmarish season for the first baseman, as Napoli sports an ugly .203/.304/.380 batting line.

Mike Napoli was dropped to eighth in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Orioles.

Advice: This will be his first time batting eighth as a member of the Red Sox, though it's worth noting he has a lot of history in that spot in his career. However, this is all about his lack of production. He's hitting .179 with one home run and .515 OPS over his last 16 games.
