Player Notes
Russell Martin is not in Wednesday's lineup against the Rockies.

Advice: Not a surprise after how Tuesday's game played out. Josh Thole will start behind the plate and catch Aaron Sanchez.

Russell Martin went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run in Wednesday's 5-2 win over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Martin struck early, smashing his three-run homer off Diamondbacks starter Robbie Ray in the first inning. He would not find another hit on the afternoon. For the season, the veteran backstop owns a .218/.304/.335 triple-slash with six homers and 28 RBI over 197 at-bats. Martin's season has been a disappointment to date, especially given that he launched a career-high 23 home runs in 2015.
