1B Prince Fielder has gone into another slump as teams pitch carefully to him because of a lack of a threat behind him in the batting order. Fielder singled to left-center his first time up and drew a walk in his second at-bat, but was only 1-for-12 in three games against Cleveland. His late two times up he grounded out to first early in the count.

Fielder went 1-for-4 with a double in Sunday's win over the Pirates, extending his hit streak to seven games.
Recommendation: Fielder has gone 13-for-29 over that seven game stretch, raising his batting average from .266 to .301. His OPS still isn't at his career norms, but his recent hot streak has got him up to a respectable .851 mark.

Fielder had three hits in a 10-8 win over the Chicago White Sox on Tuesday.
