Player Notes
Prince Fielder belted his 300th career home run in a losing effort against the Blue Jays on Friday.

Advice: The blast, his 12th of the season, came off of left-hander Mark Buehrle in the first inning. The 31-year-old slugger joined elite company as and father Cecil Fielder became only the second father/son duo to each have clubbed 300 or more career home runs, joining Barry and Bobby Bonds. He's having an outstanding comeback season in Arlington, slashing .346/.415/.539 with 48 RBI.
