Player Notes
Chase Utley singled and hit a solo home run in four at-bats as the Phillies won their third consecutive game against the Brewers on Wednesday.

Advice: Utley gave the Phillies an early 1-0 lead, lining a home run to right field off of Kyle Lohse. It's his second homer of the series and his third consecutive two-hit game. The second baseman is now slashing .294/.351/.453 with eight home runs and 46 RBI. Utley will try to help the Phillies go for a four-game series sweep on Thursday.

Chase Utley knocked in a trio of runs, finishing 2-for-4 as the Phillies narrowly won against the Brewers on Tuesday.

Advice: Utley put the Phillies on the board with a sacrifice fly in the first inning, then capped off a five-run second inning with a two-run single. The second baseman had been in a tremendous slump, but has looked renewed at the plate since the team arrived in Milwaukee. Utley, who will start at second base for the National League in the All-Star Game, is slashing .292/.349/.443 with seven home runs and 45 RBI.

Chase Utley, apparently refreshed by his day off, went 2-for-3 with a two-run homer and a walk Monday against the Brewers.

Advice: Utley's slump is approaching the two-month mark, but maybe this is a good sign it's about to come to an end. The homer was his seventh of the year, and it gave him just his second multi-RBI game since May 24.

Chase Utley is not in the Phillies' lineup Sunday.

Advice: Ryan Howard is also getting a breather. It's the first time since July 15, 2012 that both players are sitting out the same game when they're healthy. Cesar Hernandez is at second base Sunday, while John Mayberry is at first.

Chase Utley went 1-for-4 with an RBI in a losing effort against the Pirates on Friday.

Advice: The veteran second baseman continues to produce at a high level offensively, hitting .286/.343/.434 with six homers, 40 RBI and a pair of stolen bases. Even at 35-years-old, he remains one of the top offensive performers at his position in the National League.
