Buccaneers suffer another setback after Doug Martin’s shoulder injury against Falcons

Things may have gone from worse to horrific for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Tampa Bay mishandled former quarterback Josh Freeman, who was recently released. Three Bucs players have been victimized by MRSA this year. In addition, Tampa Bay fell to 0-6 after a 31-23 loss against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. This is a team with eight Pro Bowl players on their roster.

As if that was not bad enough, Bucs running back Doug Martin left Sunday’s loss with a shoulder injury, and it appears he will have a tough time getting prepared for Tampa Bay’s upcoming home game against the Carolina Panthers on Thursday.

Martin has rushed for 456 yards and one touchdown, plus 66 receiving yards, this season. Tampa Bay may have to rely on backup Mike James if Martin is not available on Thursday.
