Video of Yasiel Puig as Gumby and Hyun-Jin Ryu as the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man in Dodgers rookie hazing

The best and worst details of rookie hazing for Yasiel Puig and Hyun-Jin Ryu are that you can't see their faces when the full costume is worn. They look like amusement park workers. However, in an Instagram video uploaded to Puig's account, Ryu is persuaded into taking off his Stay Puft Marshmallow Man head for a brief moment. Puig was either not fooled by the request, or perhaps lost something in the translation, because he keeps his Gumby head on.

As Gumby himself might say, "I'm Gumby, dammit. Not Yasiel Puig."

These costumes are tons better than what other teams make their rookies do. There's nothing that could be called sexist or homophobic (even subconsciously) about the Dodgers costumes. This is just plain silly — always the preferable way to humiliate someone. Puig actually took several amusing shots of himself as Gumby, a character they probably know in Cuba, where Puig grew up, because he's so old.

Here's Gumby Puig at an elevator:

Here's Gumby Puig with Ryu Puft Marshmallow and ... is that Ron Cey, the Penguin?

The best one is of Gumby Puig and Dodgers broadcaster Vin Scully:

Unless it's Gumby Puig and a rookie dressed up as Vin Scully.
