'I cannot describe the season as successful' - Pochettino

Failure to win silverware means this season cannot be viewed as a success, says Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino. The Blues have picked up form at the end of an inconsistent campaign to move into Europa League or Europa Conference League qualification contention but lost the Carabao Cup final to Liverpool and in the FA Cup semi-finals to Manchester City. "I cannot describe the season as a successful season if you don't win a title at Chelsea," said Pochettino.

'End of an era at Livingston'

Livingston will likely have to content with a "full new team" following the relegation from the Scottish Premiership, says Falkirk midfielder Stephen McGinn. McGinn feels this summer will be one of change at Almondvale, with manager David Martindale already saying there will be a big overhaul in playing staff. "David Martindale, if he's staying on as a manager, that'll be the intention to get the club back to the Premiership," he told BBC's Scottish Football Podcast.
