Shutdown Corner - NFL

It appears that Jerry Jones did indeed think of everything.

I don't know that that little structure qualifies as an actual cage, but Al Michaels referred to the ladies inside as "cage dancers." I guess that's what Jerry wants them to be called, so who am I to argue?

When a man spends a billion dollars on a stadium, that man is entitled to cage dancers. The game's actually not over as I write this, so I don't know what's coming next. Does the end zone roll back to give way to an oil-wrestling pit? Are there private viewing booths in the luxury boxes? I don't even want to think of the decadence and depravity that takes place in Jerry's owner's box.

Here's the national television debut for the cage dancers. If you happened to be at the game, and found yourself peeking at the cage dancers from an unseemly angle, and you feel a little bit bad about it, don't worry: Cris Collinsworth approves of your perversion.

romo has to be lucky that day to do well, because a quarterback he is not. dallas has to spend money on a real quarter back. i like the guy,but he has to go.

Jerry Jones thought a fancy new stadium and cage dancers would throw the ball well and win games.

Why is it when a team gets a new Stadium they never seem to win a game in that brand new stadium.

I've been a cowboy fan for years ,this is embarrassing to see corner backs not looking back for the football they were getting beat down field badly and if jerry jones has a chance to look at this blog ,since you make the decisions ,romo isn't just a pocket passer , he's a moble quarter back in which his talents are not being properly used, and t,o wasn't your problem ,remember when romo first started he was running the football that threw defences off because you didn't know if romo was going to pass or run the ball get back to that then you will have a lot of success in your game plans because then teams will be confused again on who's getting the foot ball ,as of right now the dallas play calling is pretty predictable ,get back to letting romo run the ball and run his game then, you will make play off apperances, and probally win, GET BACK TO THE HOOD OF THINGS!!!!!

Better than this- I don't know if anyone saw it or not, but they kept flashing to Jerry Jones in the first half, and the dude was picking his nose for about 30 secs. I don't know about you, but that's the pick of the week.

I have to admit, embarrassingly at the moment, that I am a Tony Romo fan, but he played terrible last night. I'm starting to doubt that he has the "it" factor it takes to be a top tier quarterback. He seems to get flustered in their biggest games and makes bad decisions trying to force something to happen. If they don't make the playoffs this year or win a playoff game, I think it would be time for Dallas to actively pursue a young elite or at the least a very good veteran quarterback with proven leadership ability.

When will people and sports commentaters realize Tony Romo is just an average qb at best ! They talk him up like a god ! He sucks ! 3ints! And how many passes over the head or thrown to the ground ? And wear your damn hat the way youre supposed on the sidelines, youre not a16 yr. old kid ! I cant stand this punk ! I'm a long time GIANTS fan and so happy to see them pick him off like they did ! Lets give Eli Manning some praise for the way he shreadded the Cowboys defense with pinpoint accurracy ! GREAT opening of the new stadium for us GIANTS fans ! Thanks , Tony !

I saw that number 11. That fool was digging in for a long haul. the funny part was right after they flashed away from him, the announcers mentioned something about a pick on the field.

I see that Dallas has a soon to be empty new stadium , but, the same old" team". You can put a 1.5 Billion dress on a turd, but you still have a turd. "How about them Cowboys?" A bunch of losers led by an egotist.
