It's out with the teal-dominated Hornets jerseys, and in with the pinstripes, "Creole blue" and "Mardi Gras gold." Check 'em out.

"'We are extremely proud to be the New Orleans Hornets, and our new
logos and uniforms pay tribute to the past, present and future of this
great city,' said Executive Officer of the Board Chad Shinn. 'These
exciting new designs represent our commitment to championship
performance on and off the court as we look ahead to a successful
future in New Orleans.'"
Yes, pinstripes equal commitment. Remember that the next time you're working on your resume.
After the jump, a look at the Hornets three new/modified logos.

Those all look pretty snazzy. The "Fleur-de-bee" (left) is featured on the side of the shorts and on the center back of the neck of the jersey. The "horn" is placed on the back of the shorts. And the "happy bee" is just, um, there, waiting to be called into action should the "Fleur-de-bee" or "horn" kill a man in Reno or something weird.

I love how the Hornets seem to have made that connection to New Orleans jazz and the Saints. "Horn"ets. Who knew it would be that convenient?

i really like them and everything (especially the 3 new logos are very well-made and thought out).
thumbs up from me. it's nice to see something a little more on the retro side compared to the new wolves jerseys that look like they were produced from nba live or something.
the colors of the jerseys are nice, i've always liked pinstripes (minus those houston rocket prisoner jerseys) and they are eye-appealing. the nicest of the new jerseys to come out. however, i find it ironic how much they resemble those older hornet jerseys but whatever they are nice and i like 'em!

Everything else is A+, especially the old time font and "fleur-de-bee."

New Orleans Jazz. Utah Hornets. Sounds good, right?
JJ, you aren't party pooping. The deliberate retro-design going back to Charlotte is pretty sweet, just like when the Pistons killed those gross teal designs and went back to red white and blue. And the UCLA-esque road jersey is great.

I'm fully expecting Muggsy Bogues, Larry Johnson and Kenny Gattison to come walking through that door.

New Orleans deserves to have the Jazz back.
That being said, these are some good looking uniforms.

it doesn't help that they put this subpar logo below the belt on the back of the shorts. if a logo was really that good, why, oh why would you put it right there?

I LOVE them. One of the best in the NBA. I'll have a David West jersey pretty soon.
The "Fleur-de-bee" is great. Love it. The Hornets just keep rising on my list of favourite teams.
