Player Notes
Matt Adams hit the Cardinals' first walkoff homer since 2011 Monday in a 2-0 win over the Pirates.

Advice: Incredibly, the Cardinals hadn't had a walkoff since David Freese's in Game 6 of the 2011 World Series. Adams also had the Cardinals' lone hit off Charlie Morton in the game, a first-inning double. The homer in the ninth off Justin Wilson came after Matt Carpenter walked to start the frame. It was Adams' 10th homer, seven of which have come in the 23 games since he returned from the disabled list.

Matt Adams had a good day at the plate on Sunday, going 4-for-5 with an RBI and a run scored against the Marlins.

Advice: Adams had three singles to go along with an RBI double in the eighth inning. The four-hit game brought his season line up to .328/.341/.522, as he's been one of the best and most consistent offensive performers for the Cardinals this season. To top it all off, Adams also stole his third base of the season in the loss.
