Player Notes
Matt Adams is not in the Cardinals' lineup Friday.

Advice: He's getting a breather against tough lefty Gio Gonzalez. Allen Craig is playing first base, with Shane Robinson handling right field. Kolten Wong is also sitting out, as Mark Ellis is at second base.

Matt Adams went 1-for-4 with three RBI in Thursday's win over the Nationals.

Advice: Adams plated a run with a groundout in the first and then added a two-RBI single in the sixth. Though his batting line dropped to .355/.385/.500 for the season, the big man more than doubled his RBI total, as he only had pair entering the game. Adams has a hit in 11 of his 15 games so far.

Matt Adams clubbed his first home run of the season in Saturday's win over the Cubs.

Advice: It was a solo shot. Adams hasn't had much luck with runners in scoring position so far this season, hence his two RBI, but he's hitting .357 (15-for-42) through 11 games. Primarily hitting fourth or sixth in the Cardinals' lineup, the RBI should start to pile up soon.
