Player Notes
Diamondbacks activated LHP Patrick Corbin (elbow) from the 60-day disabled list.

Advice: Corbin didn't pitch past the sixth inning in any of his rehab starts and we wouldn't expect him to Saturday against the Rockies. The 25-year-old was an All-Star in 2013 but struggled down the stretch with a 5.19 ERA over his last 13 starts. Fantasy owners should use a wait and see approach with the young left-hander.

Patrick Corbin (elbow) will make his season debut on Saturday against the Rockies.

Advice: Corbin had been slated for one more rehab start, but the Diamondbacks felt that he looked ready on his rehab assignment so they will bring him back a little early. Making his way back from Tommy John surgery, the left-hander put up a 4.76 ERA and 11/7 K/BB ratio over 17 rehab innings. Ideally, fantasy owners should give him at least a start or two before sticking him back into their lineup.

Diamondbacks manager Chip Hale said Patrick Corbin (elbow) could make his season debut Saturday against the Rockies.

Advice: Corbin was expected to make a final rehab start Thursday, but the club is holding him back with the idea that he could be needed with the big club sooner. Corbin owns a 4.76 ERA and 11/7 K/BB ratio over 17 minor league innings as he makes his way back from Tommy John surgery. Corbin is worth owning, if not starting, in all fantasy leagues.

Patrick Corbin (elbow) will make his season debut for the Diamondbacks on either July 7 or 8 in Texas.

Advice: Corbin will make one final rehab start on Thursday to complete his rehab from Tommy John surgery. The left-hander has put up a 4.76 ERA and 11/7 K/BB ratio over 17 innings across four rehab starts to this point but has reportedly been hitting the mid-90s on the radar gun. Despite the nice velocity, fantasy owners should probably take a wait-and-see approach with Corbin rather than trusting him right away.

Patrick Corbin (elbow) punched out five hitters over six innings of work in his latest minor league rehab start with Double-A Mobile on Friday.

Advice: Corbin gave up two runs on four hits and a pair of walks in the outing. He built his stamina up to 87 pitches in this outing and will require just one more rehab start before rejoining the Diamondbacks rotation.
