Player Notes
Peter Bourjos scored the winning run in a 3-2 win over the Cubs in 10 innings on Friday.

Advice: Bourjos entered the game for defense in the top of the 10th inning and lead off the bottom of the inning with a double off Justin Grimm. Kolten Wong then reached on an infield single before Matt Carpenter was intentionally walked to load the bases, which set up Jhonny Peralta to hit an infield grounder to Mike Baxter, who made a wild throw to home plate to score Bourjos with the running run. It's worth noting that Bourjos appeared to take a leg to the face from catcher David Ross, who was attempting to reach the throw. He was a little shaken up, but walked off the field under his own power as the Cardinals celebrated the victory.
