Player Notes
Aaron Hicks (hamstring) will be used as a corner outfielder when he returns from the disabled list.

Advice: Hicks began a rehab assignment Saturday and should be activated at some point this week. There's no spot for him in center field with Byron Buxton around, but Hicks was really playing well before getting hurt and should be in the lineup regularly. The odd man out could be Torii Hunter, who has been receiving a lot of days off of late and is down to .232/.290/.401 for the season. "People are excited to see the day when Buxton, Hicks and (Eddie) Rosario are out there together," Twins manager Paul Molitor said. "We’ll have to figure it out day-to-day, what gives us the best chance to win a game."

Aaron Hicks (hamstring) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Rochester on Saturday.

Advice: He'll remain there for a couple days before returning on September 3 when he's first eligible. Hick has missed the last couple weeks with a left hamstring strain.
