Player Notes
Mike Trout returned to the Angels lineup with a bang on Friday, slugging his 36th home run in a loss to the Mariners.

Advice: Trout left Wednesday's game against the Athletics in the fifth inning due to a stomach illness. His solo blast was part of back-to-back shots with Kole Calhoun off Hisashi Iwakuma to get the Angles on the board in the sixth inning. The overwhelming favorite to take home American League MVP honors, Trout is hitting .290/.379/.566 with 36 long balls, 111 RBI and 16 stolen bases on the season.

Mike Trout left Wednesday's game against the Athletics because of a stomach illness.

Advice: Trout was 1-for-2 with a stolen base and a run scored before exiting in the fifth inning. The Angels are off on Thursday, which should provide Trout ample rest leading into the final weekend of the regular season.
