Player Notes
Mike Trout went 0-for-3 in Wednesday's loss to the A's.

Advice: Trout's hitting just .222 over his last five games, with just four hits in his last 18 at-bats. This is about as bad as it gets for the reigning AL MVP. Even with the recent scuffles, he's still slashing .333/.413/.556 with three home runs, nine RBI and 13 runs scored. He'll get back to destroying the universe soon enough.

Mike Trout went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts in Saturday's loss to the Astros.

Advice: This a day after Trout pounded two home runs and knocked in five. The fickle nature of baseball in action. In Saturday's case, Dallas Keuchel was able to handle the reigning MVP. Even with the quiet game, Trout's still hitting .400/.457/.675 and is as good as today's game gets.

Mike Trout blasted his way into the record books on Friday, going 2-for-4 with a pair of homers and five RBI as the Angels dispatched of the Astros 6-3.

Advice: With his sixth inning blast off Roberto Hernandez, Trout became the youngest player in baseball history to accumulate 100 home runs and 100 stolen bases, accomplishing the feat at 23 years and 253 days old, 56 days younger than the previous record-setter Alex Rodriguez. For good measure, he added a three-run bomb off Chad Qualls in the eighth inning to lead the Halos to victory. Already the game's best all-around player, it's scary to think how much better Trout will become.
