Player Notes
Mike Trout went 3-for-4 with an RBI double in the Angels' 8-2 win over the Marlins on Tuesday.

Advice: Trout hit the one-out RBI double in the fourth inning off of Miami starter Nathan Eovaldi, knocking the pitcher out of the game. It was Trout's 92nd RBI of the season. The three hits bumped his average up to .289. This three-hit effort isn't the norm in front of the home crowd, as Trout's numbers are noticeably lower at home (.258/.351/.525) than they are on the road (.312/.390/.584). "Noticeably lower" is still really good in Trout's case. Work on that home average, maybe? On the year he's slashing .289/.374/.558.

Mike Trout launched his 29th home run of the season on Sunday, helping the Angels to dispatch the Athletics in Oakland.

Advice: He victimized Jesse Chavez in the sixth inning to increase the Angels lead to 9-0 when the game was already long out of reach. He also singled in the contest, finishing 2-for-5 with a pair of runs scored. He's enjoying another phenomenal season at the dish, hitting .288/.373/.559 with 29 long balls and 91 RBI.

Mike Trout smacked his 28th homer of the year in Friday's 5-3 loss to the A's.

Advice: Trout finished 2-for-4. He entered the game batting only .221 this month, though he'd poked out three homers and walked eight times. The stud outfielder is slashing .289/.375/.559 and is on pace for 36 homers, 115 RBI, 108 runs, and 15 steals. The average is a little light, but he's going to top 30 home runs and 100 RBI for the first time, so MVP voters should be thrilled.
