Player Notes
Mike Trout hit a three-run homer off Derek Holland and walked Wednesday as the Angels edged the Rangers 5-4.

Advice: Who said Trout isn't making a difference in meaningful games in September? He's hit .306 with three homers, 11 RBI and 14 walks in 19 games this month. All but two of those games have come against teams in the mix for a spot in the postseason.

Mike Trout was undone by Taijuan Walker in Tuesday's loss to the Mariners, striking out in each of his three at-bats.

Advice: Trout entered the game 9-for-11 with three home runs against Walker, but the pitcher turned the tide on the slugger in Tuesday's contest by fanning him three times in a complete game effort. Of late, Trout has been a little whiff happy, with 10 strikeouts in his last 18 at-bats. He is hitting .319/.435/.561 with 27 homers, 89 RBI and 25 steals for the season as a whole.
