Player Notes
Chris Carter went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's loss to the Rangers.

Advice: Carter lifted off against Rangers starter A.J. Griffin the first inning for the two-run blast. He's now just one homer shy of 40, and his 39 homers, 92 RBI and 81 runs scored are all personal bests for the 29-year-old. In the National League, only Nolan Arenado has more homers than Carter with a handful of games left to play.
