Player Notes
Chris Carter hit a two-run home run in Tuesday's win over the Athletics.

Advice: Carter connected against A's starter Sonny Gray in the second inning. He's shown signs of life at the plate recently, as the homer was his second in his last four games. He's now got seven homers on the year, but he's capable of going on a tear on short notice.

Chris Carter went 1-for-4 with a three-run homer in Saturday's win over the Blue Jays.

Advice: With the Astros trailing 3-2 in the sixth inning, Carter stepped up and cracked a two-out, three-run homer off of Liam Hendriks. The Astros would hang on to win 6-5. The homer was Carter's sixth of the season and bumped his RBI total up to 16. The enigmatic slugger is currently holding a .158/.266/.325 batting line. Those numbers figure to improve eventually, but owners will have to wait for a legitimate hot streak.
