RHP Daniel Hudson (shoulder impingement) is expected to rejoin the starting rotation Sunday against Milwaukee if he recovers well from a 71-pitch outing for Class AAA Reno on Monday. Hudson, who has been on the disabled list retroactive to April 19, reported no soreness. "I feel good, ready to go. I might not be able to go 120 pitches Sunday, but hopefully I can get deep enough to shorten the game enough," said Hudson, 1-1 with a 6.00 ERA in three starts this season.

Hudson (shoulder) will start on Sunday against the Brewers, according to Jack Magruder of FOXSportsArizona.com.
Recommendation: Hudson must have shown enough in his rehab start on Monday in Triple-A Reno to get back in the rotation. He pitched five innings in the game, allowing two runs on five hits, striking out two and only walking one. If he can regain his 2011 form, he will be a huge addition to a Diamondbacks rotation that, besides Wade Miley, has been largely disappointing.
