Player Notes
Garrett Jones launched his first home run as a Marlin Sunday, hitting a solo shot in a loss to the Phillies.

Advice: Jones' longball came in the fifth inning off of Kyle Kendrick. He also drew a walk on the day. The former Pirate has been hitting either fourth or fifth regularly for the Marlins so far but is sporting just a .224/.316/.327 batting line.
