RHP Tim Lincecum had his hand wrapped one day after he hyperextended his left thumb in a collision at the plate (he covered after a wild pitch and was knocked over by Collin Cowgill). He'll make his next scheduled start, according to manager Bruce Bochy.

Lincecum turned in another dud in Sunday's 6-2 loss to the A's.
Advice: Lincecum, now 2-4, gave up five hits and four runs in four innings to push his ERA to 6.04. He hasn't won since April 28 at San Diego. "Every time he goes out there I think, here we go, we'll have a normal game from Timmy," Giants manager Bruce Bochy said. It hasn't really happened yet and fantasy owners may want to look elsewhere for quality pitching.

Lincecum (thumb) was wearing a wrap Monday, but said he's OK following a collision at home plate in Sunday's game, CSN Bay Area's Andrew Baggarly reports.
Recommendation: All signs point to Lincecum being available for his next start, and manager Bruce Bochy shot down the idea of skipping his ace in the rotation as a result of his recent struggles.
