Player Notes
Tim Lincecum notched the first save of his eight-year career, coming into Tuesday's game in the 14th inning and getting the final two outs for a Giants win.

Advice: George Kontos started off the inning, but got into trouble when Ryan Howard singled to lead off the frame and Wil Nieves doubled with one out to put runners at second and third. Lincecum allowed Howard to score on a ground out, then walked Cameron Rupp, but was able to get Domonic Brown to ground out to first to end the game. As a starter, Lincecum had made strides lately, and now sports a 3.65 ERA, 1.23 WHIP, and 108/47 K/BB ratio. Lincecum started on Sunday but should be able to make his next scheduled start on Friday against the Dodgers at home.
