Player Notes
Adam Lind (back) is back in the Brewers' lineup Tuesday.

Advice: Lind missed a couple games with lower back stiffness, but he was available off the bench Monday and is ready to roll now. The first baseman is a good bet to be traded this week.

Adam Lind (back) said Monday that he's feeling better and expects to return to the lineup Tuesday.

Advice: Lind is missing a second straight start because of a tight lower back. He thinks he could be available to pinch-hit, though, and is aiming to return to action Tuesday. Lind is a good bet to be traded this week, with the Cardinals being one club that's in on him.

Adam Lind (back) remained out of the Brewers' lineup Monday.

Advice: He's sat out the last two contests after exiting Saturday's game with lower back tightness. It's not considered more than a day-to-day thing at the moment, but it's worth noting that Lind has a history of back issues. The first baseman is known to have received trade interest from the Cardinals, among other clubs, but they'd obviously like to see him healthy first. Shane Peterson is at first base Monday.

Derrick Goold of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that the Cardinals have discussed a potential trade with the Brewers involving first baseman Adam Lind.

Advice: St. Louis has needed a boost at first base ever since Matt Adams went down in late May with what's likely to be a season-ending quad injury. Mark Reynolds has struggled in a full-time role and the Cardinals aren't sure what to expect yet from rookie Stephen Piscotty. Lind, a left-handed hitter who's sitting on an .865 OPS, 16 home runs, and 58 RBI through 92 games, would be an absolutely perfect fit. The 32-year-old is making $7.5 million this season with a relatively-inexpensive $8 million club option for 2016.

Adam Lind (back) is not in the Brewers' lineup Sunday.

Advice: Lind exited Saturday's game with lower back tightness and is considered day-to-day. Jonathan Lucroy is at first base, with Martin Maldonado behind the plate.

Adam Lind left Saturday's game in the second inning after experiencing lower back tightness.

Advice: With trade rumors swirling around Lind, the flareup comes with pretty awful timing. Shane Peterson took over at first base and may have to start there on Sunday. Lind struck out in his only at-bat Saturday against Diamondbacks right-hander Rubby De La Rosa.

Adam Lind went off in Wednesday's 7-5 loss to the Indians, finishing the contest 4-for-5 with a two-run homer and four total RBI.

Advice: Lind took Indians starter Cody Anderson to task in the first inning when he launched a two-run homer off the rookie. He added an RBI single in the second and an RBI double in the ninth, ultimately driving in four of the five runs scored by the Brewers on the day. The long-time Blue Jay is posting a quietly fantastic season and is slashing .293/.374/.515 with 16 homers and 58 RBI over 307 at-bats.
