2B Howie Kendrick was recalled from Class AAA Salt Lake after Friday's gme. In 19 games since being demoted, Kendrick hit .338 (25 for 74) with six doubles, a triple, two home runs and 11 RBI. Kendrick was hitting just .231 when the Angels sent him down. IF Sean Rodriguez was optioned to Class AAA Salt Lake to make room for Kendrick on the 25-man roster.
