2B Howie Kendrick's first half was disrupted by a hamstring injury that sent him to the DL for most of April and May. But he has found his swing in July. With four hits Wednesday, Kendrick was 9-for-12 in the three-game series against the Indians and is batting .418 (28-for-67) with 17 RBIs in 18 games this month. Half of Kendrick's hits have been for extra bases -- 10 doubles, one triple and three home runs.

Kendrick went 2-for-3 and stole his seventh base of the season in the Angels' victory over the Indians on Tuesday.
Recommendation: Kendrick is really starting to look like the player the Angels envisioned he'd become. He's batting .387 with three home runs and 14 RBI in 17 games this month.
