Player Notes
Howie Kendrick went 2-for-4 in Tuesday's 2-0 loss to the Athletics.

Advice: Sonny Gray tossed a three-hit shutout, and Kendrick was responsible for two of those three hits. The second baseman entered the game 3-for-26 in his previous six games, losing nearly 30 points of OPS. He owns a .285/.333/.397 triple-slash line with seven home runs, 40 RBI, and 45 runs scored.

Howie Kendrick is out of the Dodgers' starting lineup on Thursday evening against the Mets.

Advice: Enrique Hernandez will start at second base. It's just a day of maintenance for the veteran Kendrick.
