Player Notes
Chris Young was hitless in four at-bats against the Braves on Friday in his return from the disabled list.

Advice: Young, out since Opening Day with a quad strain, batted fifth in his return. He should be the regular center fielder for New York until Juan Lagares returns from the disabled list, so he could be worth a pickup in deeper mixed fantasy leagues.

Mets activated OF Chris Young from the 15-day disabled list.

Advice: Young is in the Mets lineup on Friday, playing center field and hitting fifth. With Juan Lagares on the DL, he should get a chance to play everyday, and has the ability to contribute nice power and speed numbers in mixed leagues at the expense of batting average.

Chris Young went 5-for-5 and blasted a pair of home runs in his first minor league rehab game for Triple-A Las Vegas on Sunday.

Advice: The veteran outfielder is expected to play in a few games to get his timing back before rejoining the Mets lineup over the weekend. With Juan Lagares performing well in his absence, it's unclear how playing time will shake out in the Mets outfield upon Young's return.

Chris Young (quad) will begin a minor league rehab assignment with Triple-A Las Vegas on Saturday.

Advice: Young appeared in another game at extended spring training on Friday and came through without any difficulty. He'll need a few games in the minors to get his timing back, then could return to the Mets at some point next week.

Chris Young (quad) will play in another extended spring training game Friday.

Advice: Young, who is working his way back from a right quad strain, played in his first game Thursday. He'll likely make his way to Triple-A Las Vegas from here and should rejoin the Mets late next week if all goes well.
