Player Notes
Nick Markakis went 4-for-5 with three RBI in a win over the Red Sox on Thursday.

Advice: Markakis had a two-run single in the second inning before notching another RBI single two innings later. Playing for the Braves, Markakis has gone largely unnoticed this season, but all the veteran has done is bat .305/.412/.439 with 11 doubles, 19 RBI and nine runs scored. He's likely to be one of the few bright spots for the Braves this season.

Nick Markakis went 3-for-5 with an RBI single in Sunday's loss to the Mets.

Advice: Markakis worked an RBI single off Mets starter Jacob deGrom in the fifth inning. It would bring home one of just two runs scored by the Braves on the afternoon. With the three hits, Markakis is now slashing a respectable .303/.410/.439 across 66 at-bats.
