Player Notes
Nick Markakis went 2-for-4 with a triple, an RBI and two runs scored Tuesday against the Dodgers.

Advice: The game was the second in a row that Markakis had two hits and scored two runs, giving him 42 runs scored to go with a .292/.377/.368 line. The lack of power takes away some of Markakis' appeal, but he's been largely what the Braves thought they were getting when they signed him to a four-year deal this past offseason.

Nick Markakis finally got on the board with his first home run of the season, also doubling and walking in a 2-3 effort in Monday's win over the Dodgers.

Advice: Markakis clubbed a home run to center field off of former Brave Brandon Beachy ending 393 homerless plate appearances this season. Though power deficient, the veteran outfielder has otherwise had a productive year at the dish, batting .289/.375/.361 with 31 RBI and 40 runs scored.
