Travis d'Arnaud went 1-for-3 and caught five innings Saturday afternoon with Double-A Binghamton.

Advice: It looks like d'Arnaud will be back on the Mets' active roster early next week. The 26-year-old catcher has been out since June 23 because of a left elbow sprain.

Travis d'Arnaud (elbow) has had his minor league rehab assignment up to Double-A Binghampton.

Advice: His rehab has been stalled a bit after he had a few games rained out at High-A St. Lucie. The Mets are hopeful that he'll be able to return to the team next weekend against the Nationals.

Advice: The Mets want d'Arnaud to play a handful of games in the minors, but Terry Collins thinks he has a chance to be activated next weekend. The 26-year-old catcher has been on the disabled list since June 23 with a left elbow sprain.

Advice: And it sounds like he'll be playing in rehab games by the end of the week. The 26-year-old catcher has been on the disabled list since June 23 with a left elbow sprain. He's trending toward an end-of-July return.

Advice: D'Arnaud is slated to take live batting practice on Monday and will be cleared for game action if it goes well. The catcher has been on the shelf for nearly a month with a left elbow sprain but would seem to have a shot to return before the end of the month.
