Player Notes
Marcell Ozuna went 2-for-5 with two RBI in Friday’s victory over the Padres.

Advice: Ozuna got the Marlins on the board in the first inning with an RBI double and later added an RBI single in the seventh inning, which jumpstarted the team’s comeback effort. This was just Ozuna’s second multi-hit game in his last 25 games. It has been a rough month for the 25-year-old, but he has the ability to finish strong.

Advice: Ozuna made an early exit from Tuesday's game because of a private family emergency. He is starting in center field and batting cleanup Wednesday at home versus Kansas City right-hander Dillon Gee.

Marcell Ozuna lifted a solo homer as part of a 1-for-4 evening on Wednesday against the Reds.

Advice: The outfielder is having a nice bounce-back season after a dreary 2015 that saw him get demoted to Triple-A for a while. He is now batting .281/.337/.493 with 21 longballs, 62 RBI and 62 runs scored. He is on pace to set career highs in all of those stats. The Marlins were rumored to be dangling Ozuna in trade talks over the winter but they were smart to hang on to him.
