Player Notes
Ryan Zimmerman admitted Thursday that he's been bothered by a plantar fascia issue.

Advice: It's the reason that he has been limping around early in the season, and could partially be to blame for his early-season struggles. While he's able to play through the injury, it does cause extreme discomfort, and manager Matt Williams indicated Thursday that he could rest the veteran slugger for day soon.

Ryan Zimmerman went 2-for-4 with two RBI in Sunday's 4-1 win against the Phillies.

Advice: Zimmerman capped the Nationals' three-run fifth inning with an RBI double off of David Buchanan. Zimmerman padded the Nats' lead to 4-0 with a seventh-inning RBI single against Dustin McGowan. Despite batting .250 over his last five games, Zimmerman is on a five-game RBI streak. On the season, he's hitting a meager .184 with 11 RBI.
