Player Notes
Ryan Zimmerman hit a go-ahead RBI single in the top of the 10th Saturday in a 5-3 win over the Phillies.

Advice: It was the only hit of the game for Zimmerman, but it was obviously a big one. He's batting .272/.342/.428 with 28 RBI in 47 games this season for the Nationals, who are tied with the Braves atop the National League East.

Ryan Zimmerman finished 4-for-5 with three RBI to help the Nationals beat the Cubs on Saturday.

Advice: The Cubs looked like a deflated team in the wake of the Jeff Samardzija and Jason Hammel trade. Washington scored one run in the second inning, six in the third, two in the sixth, and four in the seventh for the club's most lopsided victory of the 2014 season. Zimmerman had two doubles and two singles.
