Player Notes
Ryan Zimmerman broke a 6-6, 10th-inning tie with a walk-off two-run home run off of the right field foul pole to help the Nationals overcome the Yankees on Tuesday.

Advice: Zimmerman went into the 10th inning 0-for-4. In his fifth at-bat, he drilled a 3-1 Andrew Miller fastball to the opposite field to send the Nationals home winners. It hit the foul pole just before it could slice foul. Zimmerman is batting a mediocre .242/.294/.418 with five home runs, but has knocked in 31 runs.
