Sep 3 Braves.MLB.com's Alden Gonzalez reports Atlanta Braves C Brian McCann (shoulder) left the game in the fourth inning Tuesday, Sept. 2, after being hit on the shoulder with a foul ball because manager Bobby Cox wanted him to catch in the day game Wednesday. KFFL


Sep 2 C Brian McCann was taken out after three innings because the Braves led 10-3 and will be playing a day game Wednesday. The Braves promptly blew that lead but came back to win 16-14. Yahoo! Sports


Aug 29 McCann hit a three-run home run in the fifth inning of the Braves' 4-2 win over Florida on Thursday night.

Advice: It was McCann's first home run since he went deep against Arizona on Aug. 9. The All-Star catcher batted .192 (10-for-52) with three RBIs in 15 games between homers.
