JAY DUNN: John Sterling, even during 2009 World Series confusion, was always one of a kind

It was in fourth inning of Game Four of the 2009 World Series. Ryan Howard of the Phillies was on second base with two out when Pedro Feliz singled sharply to left field. While Howard raced around third, Yankees left fielder Johnny Damon scooped up the ball and got off an accurate throw to the plate. In 2009, catchers were permitted to block the plate, and that's what Jorge Posada did.
