Player Notes
Bryce Harper went 2-for-4 with a pair of singles and a run scored in Saturday's loss to the Mets.

Advice: Harper's had a somewhat sketchy series against his divisional rivals this weekend. On Friday, he went 0-for-5 with a strikeout before being ejected for arguing balls and strikes in the 11th inning. The Nationals lost that game. They lost on Saturday, too, though Harper at least managed to stay on the field for the duration of this one. Occasional shenanigans aside, the 22-year-old outfielder is an NL MVP front-runner and is currently hitting .332/.458/.677 with 29 home runs, 68 RBI and four steals.

Bryce Harper was ejected from Friday's game against the Mets in the 11th inning for arguing balls and strikes.

Advice: Jerry Meals' strike zone was questionable, but Harper pushed things too far and got himself kicked out of the game. It forced the Nationals to use Dan Uggla at first base and Ryan Zimmerman in the outfield. Harper went 0-for-5 with a strikeout before exiting.

Bryce Harper hit two home runs and knocked in four runs in a 3-for-4 effort, helping the Nationals take down the Marlins on Wednesday.

Advice: Harper drilled a three-run home run to break a 2-2 tie in the fifth inning, then added a solo shot in the eighth for good measure. That ends a nine-game homerless streak and allows Harper to retake the National League lead in home runs with 29. He carries a superb .335/.463/.690 batting line with 68 RBI.
