Shane Victorino finished 2-for-3 with a walk and a solo homer in Thursday's 2-1 win against the Mariners.

Advice: It was his first homer of the year. Victorino had a .143/.302/.171 slash line when he was activated from the disabled list, but he's 3-for-6 with a walk, double and homer in the past two games, giving hope that the veteran can chip in against left-handers this year. The Hawaiian is 90 percent healthy, according to skipper John Farrell.
